Sometimes a single sock ends up missing,

and it must be somewhere in the house,

but no matter how hard i try to search for it,

it never did turn up.

It makes the other sock useless without it.

yet I cant get myself to throw it away.

It doesnt happen alot, but if it does turn up,

in the least expected place which I completely forgotten about,

it makes me 10 times happier than when i just bought them.

Maybe that's why people hang on to the sock,

because they are hoping that one day they will feel the happiness.
